Trip to Lisbon was one of the best experience in my life. I am thankful for that opportunity. Thank you so much  UCB . To sum up everything I would like to say that everyone should visit Lisbon. Architecture is amazing. I have read a lot of about architecture there - old buildings, narrow streets - everything creates a unique atmosphere, even drying laundry hanging from windows! And that breathtaking views form hills! I really appreciate that we had a lot of free time. We could visit places which we want to see. I was surprised because there was not a lot of shops. I mean shops where you can buy a food. Maybe because I am from Poland where shops are  everywhere ! :)  People are nice and helpful, if no one lady who helped me and my cousin in metro we wouldn't be on time in Jardim Zoológico de Lisboa. Finally I met closer people from my course! I have amazing colleagues :)

PASTEIS DE BELEM

In Sintra, I had occasion to taste  pasteis de belem  - is a Portuguese egg tart pastry, very popular sweet in Portugal. So I had to try ;). I thought it will be something which I have never tried before, but it is very similar to cake which my mom makes sometimes, be careful - very sweet :D

Sintra

Day 2 we spent in Sintra. Before visiting Portugal, I have read a lot of about Sintra. People say that is a very spiritual place, especially castle - Palácio Nacional da Pena. But surrounding made more impression on me than that castle. We came there early so the weather wasn't good, it was foggy - but for me, it made that place more magician and spiritual. The vegetation and colorful castle looked then nice. The center of Sintra looks amazing, I have found many lovely shops, pubs, and cafes.

Jardim Zoológico de Lisboa

Honestly... I do not, especially like zoos. Animals in captivity, tight, dirty, small cages. Yes I know is still zoo but I was positively surprised how the zoo in Lisbon looks like. In comparison with zoos which I visited Jardim Zoológico de Lisboa looks totally different. Firstly there is a lot of lush vegetation which makes an amazing atmosphere. Secondly, the peacocks which free roam around the zoo. Jardim Zoológico de Lisboa has many interesting nooks with fountains, vegetation, buildings where are old azulejos, these places are great to making pictures. The zoo is located on uneven terrain, many hills, and stairs. Everything creates a unique atmosphere. The zoo is home to around 300 species. The area where animals lives are really big and varied. For instance, lions have a waterfall and many, many hills in their catwalk. Some monkeys lives without cages, from freedom, divided they water. The best part of my trip to Jardim Zoológico was dolphin show. When I w
